Bilt-Hamber Touch-Less mixing calculator
Use measured equipment draw to calculate the reservoir mixture for a supported delivered target.
Calibrate with plain water first
- Fill the reservoir with plain water. Use the manufacturer’s full detergent-feed setting.
- Collect the complete discharge until that reservoir empties, then measure its total volume.
- Keep those equipment settings when using the calculated reservoir mix.
Reservoir concentration and delivered concentration differ. The example below demonstrates the distinction.
Checked application examples
Examples use volume measurements. Water already measured and finished mixture are different starting points.
Calibrated foam — 0.5%–2% PIR
Calibrated delivered concentration. 1 L reservoir producing 10 L measured output needs 100 mL product and 900 mL water for 1% calculated PIR.
Measure all plain-water output until the reservoir empties, at the manufacturer’s feed setting.
Source location: How to use / PIR calibration. Current instructions specify 0.5%–2% delivered concentration and a reservoir-emptying calibration.
