Koch-Chemie Pol Star dilution calculator
Choose within the documented 1:5–1:20 product:water range, then calculate a final bottle or a measured water amount.
Water added and finished volume
The calculator keeps those two starting points separate. Product:water is a volume ratio, and a water-added recipe produces a larger finished amount. It does not silently treat litres of water as litres of finished mixture.
Example: at a selected 1:20 product:water ratio, 500 mL water needs 25 mL Pol Star and makes approximately 525 mL. A finished 500 mL bottle at the same ratio uses approximately 23.81 mL product and 476.19 mL water.

How is the ratio interpreted?
1:5 means one volume part Pol Star plus five volume parts water, not one part in five parts total. The calculator lets you start with water already measured or a desired finished amount.
How should residue be removed?
Use the manufacturer’s application and removal method for the surface, and test compatibility first. The calculator selects quantities, not a treatment method.
