  • Paint500 mL by volume
  • Activator333 mL by volume
  • Reducer167 mL by volume

Add 500 mL Paint, 333 mL Activator, and 167 mL Reducer to make 1 L.

How to mix 3:2:1 in 1 liter

This calculator preloads a 3:2:1 dilution for a total batch of 1 liter. Confirm the total volume, then follow the component amounts surfaced above. Optional gram targets are derived from these volumes after you enter the exact product densities.

  1. Confirm that the exact paint system specifies 3:2:1 paint:activator:reducer by volume.
  2. Measure each displayed component separately: 0.5 L Paint, 0.3333 L Activator, 0.1667 L Reducer.
  3. Combine the paint and activator, then add the specified reducer only as directed by the exact product technical sheet. Do not top up with water or extra solvent to reach a fill line.

Accuracy tips

Need to batch multiple containers? Duplicate this preset, change the container size, and use the copyable mix line for fast relabelling. Only use gram targets after entering densities from the exact product data.

How this is calculated

For a ratio of a:b, each part is a/(a+b) and b/(a+b) of the total. PPM mode uses 1 ppm ≈ 1 mg/L for aqueous solutions. Show gram targets to convert those calculated volumes using the densities you provide; the ratio itself remains volume-based.
