Manufacturer’s component ratio (weight)

A true mass ratio: no density is needed to split a weight amount. Use the basis stated for the exact product.

Example: 2:1 by weight

For a product explicitly specifying 2:1 resin:hardener by weight, a 150 g total requires 100 g resin and 50 g hardener. If 180 g resin is already measured, add 90 g hardener for 270 g total. This is an arithmetic example, not a ratio recommendation for your product.

Weight ratios and volume ratios differ

A 2:1 volume ratio need not be 2:1 by weight. The ordinary preset pages retain their volume basis and optional density-derived gram outputs. This calculator supports a separate, explicit mass ratio without guessing densities.
